Current Regular Division & Multibreed Division North American Flyball Association World Record Holders in New Orleans! 

Drop-by the Louisiana SPCA (1700 Mardi Gras Blvd.) on Wednesday, May 16 from 7:00pm-9:00pm to learn about the exciting sport of Flyball. 

Current World Record holder, Lee Heighton, will talk about drive exercises and how to keep your dog excited about playing.  He will then give a quick lesson on how to teach a dog a box turn.  Attendees will then have a basic idea of how they can introduce their dog to the sport of Flyball. 

People only, unless you’ve attended a Louisiana SPCA Flyball Class.

I was introduced to Flyball in 1998 when I met my wife, Angie, at a Flyball practice. We run on the Spring Loaded Flyball team based in Michigan that currently holds the world records in the Regular and Multibreed classes. When I'm not playing Flyball I work as a police canine handler for the Port Huron police department and have been handling and training police dogs for 11 years. Watching a dog improve through the use of good training techniques is one of the most rewarding parts of our sport.

The final school bell has almost rung for this year, so it's time to celebrate with your four & two-legged friends!
